FINANCE CLERK / OFFICER (Job Share)
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, numerate individual
to join our Romsey based company, working within the Finance Department,
reporting to the Financial Controller. The role is offered as a
full job share position, sharing the responsibilities of Accounts
Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and other Ad-Hoc duties,
within both the Finance department and company as required with
a job share partner.
The successful applicant will have a flexible approach to the
working schedule, with a can do attitude, an eye to detail and fully
committed to the ethos of job Share.
Description of Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate recording of cash receipts within AR
- Chasing customers for overdue payments
- Checking potential customer credit worthiness
- Entering invoices onto AP
- Weekly payment of invoices due and recording of payments
- Liaising with suppliers as required
- Filing
- Answering incoming phone call to the site
- Ad hoc clerical duties as and when required
Essential Skills
- Accounts Payable

- Intermediate Excel and Word
- Attention to Detail
Desirable Skills
- Working with multiple currencies
- Knowledge of VAT, Employee Expenses, and Petty Cash
- General Book Keeping to Trial Balance

Hours of Work
- 19 hours per standard week, (38 hours when covering partner)
- Wednesday 12.30 to 17.00
- Thursday and Friday 09.00 to 17.00 (3/4 hr Lunch)

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Description of Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and effectiveness of the quality
system ensuring continued compliance to ISO 13485:2003, ISO9001:2008
and 21 CFR 820.
- Hosts Notified Body, FDA and third party audits.
- Ensuring Management is aware of the performance of the quality
management system and any need for improvements.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to the Internal Quality
Audit schedule and for conducting internal audits.
- Responsible for management of the customer complaint system,
including investigation, reporting and customer close out.
- Responsible for determining when Adverse Incidents/MDR events
have occurred and for reporting and liaising with regulatory authorities.
- Responsible for the management of the CAPA and Change Control
system, ensuring Quality System compliance is maintained.
- Responsible for supplier evaluation and approval to company
requirements.
- Responsible for the quality control of all materials and products,
and to work with suppliers on quality related matters to achieve
ongoing product compliance.
- Work with Engineering Functions during product development
and new product introduction to ensure new products meet relevant
quality standards.
- Responsible for ensuring all staff are adequately trained in
the requirements of the quality system.
- Responsible for all ensuring that all product Technical Files,
Design Dossier and DMRs are current and compliant.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BEng) from a three-year college or university
course.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the medical
devices or other healthcare industry.
- Trained Internal Auditor.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations,
technical procedures, general business periodicals or professional
journals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers,
and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents,
logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply
mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution,
determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance,
correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
